Actually, was keen on leaving a comment on your previous post – we once visited a village in Assam – Dhuba ati gaon and the women brought out to show us the colourful and absolutely beautiful shawls they had woven!! For us, coming from the cities and having no such skill ourselves, it was such a special visit – to see their bamboo houses on stilts, to know why they built them the way they did, to see that every house had a loom…
