Things have changed in the last few decades. There are not may Gujjars who are still nomads, except in the mountains of Kashmir, Himachal, Uttarakhand etc. Rest have become like others wherever they are.
that is a beautiful picture ..the idea of ‘Gujjars’ has been romanticised too much by scholars whereas these days so few of them are left as Vinod sir says..I barely see any when I go to Himachal..used to see many of them when I was a kid..
